The Scream: Father conducts virginity test on daughter every time she goes out to play

The father of a thirteen year old girl has been arrested for allegedly attempting to defile her in their sleeping kiosk on a Sunday 28th June, 2015.  The girl had told her class teacher four days earlier that the father constantly checks  her virginity by inserting his finger when ever she returns home from town. The young girl was able to escape, that day, after kicking her dad in the 'nuts' and ran to safety almost naked (she had just returned from church and was undressing). The father still claims his innocence and debunks the accusations as false.
According to Mrs Vivian Nketia, the primary 6 teacher, Linda (Not her true name), had confided in her about her father's abhorrent behaviour. “Some times when she goes out with her friends and she comes home the father would say 'come I want to check whether when you went out someone slept with you,' and the father will use his hand under her private part and check whether she had slept with somebody,” the Class teacher disclosed. On some bizarre occasions the father shaves her private part.
The head Mistress of Linda's school (Name withheld) said they were in the process of “solving” the issue when they heard the following Monday that the father had attempted the act again. “I asked her whether he [the father] had been sleeping with her and she said no. but form sources I learnt he has been doing that. He puts the girl into a deep sleep at night. That is why he has been using the concoction in that place to make it open” she speculates “The girl said she had never remembered when the dad took her only that when she wakes up she feels lower abdominal pain. So I reported the case to the Girl Child Officer at the Municipal Education directorate.”

“I went to the school on the 25th of June, that the girl has been defiled by the father. So as I went to ascertain the truth as a Girls Education Coordinator” said Mrs Stephanie Mireku-Asanti, “...the father for some time now has been sucking her breast, he fingers her and sometimes shaves her.” In her narration, the girl had been living with the father's employer and had been taken good care of until her benefactor fell ill. “That was how come she had to come and live with her father.” her initial action was to report to her director so that the various stakeholders of Social welfare.
“I was supervising the BECE (Basic Education Certificate Examination) when I was called again from the school that the girl's father had attempted again,” she said, to my utmost embarrassment as a man.
Apparently this had been happening for a  long time and Linda did not know who to tell.
Her best friend and classmate said she told her of her father's behaviour but when she heard of it, she felt scared.
The teachers revealed that the family had visited the school to insult and threaten the teachers after the case had been reported to the authorities. According to the Head Mistress, the mother of the young girl had said "If the father sleeps with his daughter, is it your concern?" She ended by cursing the teachers and saying she would evoke 'Antua' god on them all.
Linda is a young child who was bold enough to defend herself from her father's persistent sexual weakness.
The case has since been reported to the court and bail set for her dad. She currently stay in an orphanage awaiting her fate.
